Mario Mantese is an internationally renowned spiritual teacher and author. In this exclusive interview with Thomas Schmelzer, he discusses the path of his profession and his many experiences and insights. His work as a spiritual healer and teacher began after a dramatic incident at the age of 28 and a profound #neardeathexperience. He describes himself simply as a human being, as light, but it is incomplete to describe his work in this way. #mariomantese had already discovered clairvoyant powers in his youth. He also pursued his passionate interest in music and philosophy from an early age. At 20, he toured Europe with the world-famous American soul and funk band “Heatwave”. Their success led to Grammy Award nominations and a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. His great metamorphosis occurred after a tragic incident in London. Clinically dead for several minutes, and requiring several hours of open-heart surgery, he fell into a deep coma. During a prolonged death-experience, he shifted out of his body and consciously wandered through various dimensions, entering both illuminated and darkened worlds. This was a journey guided by ancient forces of destiny. A profound transformation led to Mario Mantese’s work as a spiritual teacher. He has led gatherings in German-speaking countries for over forty years, and also given talks in Japan, Australia and India. He is the author of 21 books including classics such as “In the Land of Silence” and “In the Heart of the World”. He has spent decades receiving people from all over the world and from the broadest range of ethnicity, religion, and culture. With his current publication, the autobiographical narrative “As Long as We Breathe”, and his final gathering December 14-15, 2024 in the Eulachhallen in Winterthur, he bids farewell to the general public as a spiritual teacher. He offers these words: "The soul full of light, and the heart is full of love and goodness. The mind is abundant with wisdom embedded in eternal being.
